This got off to a bit of an awkward start...
The narration picked up--very literally--with the next sentence after the end of book three. No intro, no catch up, no re-acquaintance with any characters. Nothing to indicate there has been 7 months between books.
On the other hand, we are right into the action! Hopefully things slow down enough to let in some of the charm I've been expecting.
