Now here is a book for book lovers. Reading it made me happy!
Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore might be my favorite book of the year. This is a story about people who love books. There's a mystery to solve, and it's full of very clever, nerdy, Google-world stuff. These characters are characters, and they gave me many laugh-out-loud moments. The writing is so sharp and clever--it was fun to read just for the joy of discovering what witty words would come next.
I thought this book was perfect.
