Review

Phew, my faith in my friends recommending good books to me is restored! After being dissapointed with some aspects of the first Fablehaven book, it was a pleasant surprise to find this book well written and wonderfully imaginative.
This time around, the characters drove the story with much more effectivness than in the first book. I loved the redemption of Seth, the humilty of Kendra, and unexpected heroism of Coulter, and the wisdom of Tanu. I found the descriptive language to be much better as well. Not to mention the great twist at the end!
Fablehaven--Rise of the Evening Star was a lot of fun, and if the next three books are equal to it, I'll be singing the praises of Fablehaven along with many of my friends!
